LogiMAT 2025: Wireless Charging Reducing Downtime Facilitates Sustainability in Intralogistics

LogiMAT 2025, held in Stuttgart, Germany, was quite a cornerstone for the intralogistics and industrial market. Nearly 1,600 exhibitors participated, and one-third were from outside Germany. While the AI disruption was considerably high at this event too, we found due importance given to digitization, efficacy, sustainability, other technological innovations, and, more importantly, to increasing productivity by reducing downtime and thus making the solutions sustainable.

The event marked innovations in digital twins, simulation software, and integrated ERP systems, which are highlighted as tools that provide real-time data and optimization insight to imbue more efficiency into industrial processes and their management. The fast-evolving wireless charging technology was also one of the key topics of every discussion at shows like LogiMAT, Modex, Promat, Automate, and others.

Awareness, interest, popularity, and adoption of wireless power for AGV/AMR and other industrial robotics applications is seen to be on the rise. LogiMAT Stuttgart gave updates on the evolution of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots.
